Goals & Outcomes

In my career, I want to ensure that I find sources of issues, develop a plan of action to fix the said concern, and then further evaluate implementation to ensure I am providing the best possible care, at the most affordable price to individuals in my community. Working on the culture within facilities is also a large initiative I would like to take, as I feel happier employees radiate into an improved feel to a facility-wide atmosphere, further focussing on another area of the patient experience.

Continued education on my own terms as well as through working with multi-disciplinary teams will be essential to acquiring these goals of mine. As both a learner and person, I want to be shaped by inquiry and research; Always analyzing, the often systematic and cyclic, impacts occurring within the healthcare system impacting our ability to provide optimal services. I hope to one day take the position of a major healthcare organization leader or administrator, becoming a role model and transformative figure.

Long Term Goals

Become a role-model Healthcare Administrator

Hold numerous positions of leadership through a variety of sizes of facilities ranging from clinics to large hospitals- Applying my knowledge of the previous population to my next to constantly work towards improvements.

Develop a one of a kind, comprehensive plan that will drastically influence electronic health record (EHR) design, implementation use, and evalulation techniques

All of this will be in favor of patient-centered care, and focusing on the population perspective- where care is distributed equally to all & socioeconiomic health risks have been identified and prepared for.

Finish my career with a plethora of knowledge acquired through continued learning-average program implementation success rate above 70%

In an everchanging field, where outcomes are almost directly impacted by the utilization of proper health services, it is essential to remain up-to-date with new research, findings, treatments, procedures, and more as an individual working in the health care field.

Through consistent research and Inquiry- I will be aware of what type of procedures are working, and where in hopes of having a large amount of successful program implementations, whether it be small or large.

I love interacting with patients and customers- but I think it is also important to begin my work with population health dealing with the population in concern on a first-hand basis.

Explore how public health initiatives and jobs have been integrated into the modern-day American society

I am very eager to see how this multi-disciplinary field is being utilized to promote population health.

Work towards establishing myself as a public health professional & seeking out meaningful connections / experiences that I can use as support, personally & to enhance my background knowledge in the field

Gaining experience prior to taking on a "big girl" degree pursuit is important to me to understand who and what I am dealing with, as major figureheads in companies can get lost in the business side and forget they are dealing with real people.

I Developed an Extensive Skillset Pertaining to Public Health Communication

Within my time with the BPH program at UF, I have explored numerous concepts and approaches to communicating with different platforms to address a public health issue. As seen on my coursework page, some of these methods include-
